Our Story
PlanexAI is built on a friendship that began in the first grade. Growing up together in the Boston community, we were raised in families where civic leadership, political engagement, and education were the cornerstones of our community identity. This upbringing gave us a firsthand view of the systemic hurdles that constrain communal mobility, and we recognized early that those challenges were rooted in how institutions fail to provide the modern infrastructure necessary for collective advancement.
Our paths moved from those early years to our respective HBCUs. Following graduation, we pursued elite specialties to gain the tools necessary to return and drive the change our communities require: dual degrees in Applied Physics and Electrical Engineering on one side, and a Master's in Education Policy Analysis from Harvard on the other.
At this stage in our careers, we recognized that our parallel paths had reached a point of necessary convergence. PlanexAI represents our first step in a long-term commitment to effecting positive, systemic change for the communities that raised us.
