How is GPA calculated?+
Each letter grade is worth a number of grade points on a 4.0 scale (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, and so on). Multiply each course’s grade points by its credit hours, add those up, and divide by your total credit hours. This calculator does that for you as you type.
Is this a weighted or unweighted GPA?+
Unweighted, on the standard 4.0 scale. Some schools use A+ = 4.3 or add extra weight for honors and AP courses, so check your school’s official scale if it differs.
How do I calculate my cumulative GPA?+
