What your advisor can see
An advisor who writes to you sees your name, your email, and your conversation, nothing more. When you reply, or request an advisor from the directory, you share your PlanexAI academic record with that advisor: your courses, grades, study activity, and SmartCards. The share lasts a year from your latest message, then ends unless you write again. If you joined PlanexAI with an advisor code, that advisor already sees your record.
Your advisor messaging you never shares your record on its own; only your own messages do.
Frequently asked questions
Does replying to a meeting invite share my record?
No. Accepting, declining, or suggesting a new time for a meeting does not share your record. Only a message you write does.
