Import courses from Canvas
Connect Canvas with an access token and pull your enrolled courses and assignments straight into your planner.
Where to find it
On the web, open Profile, then Integrations, then Canvas LMS. In the mobile app, open the Canvas screen (the cloud icon in Coursework). Both lead to the same connect flow below.
Get a Canvas token
In Canvas, open Account, then Settings, then New access token, and copy the token it generates.
Connect and import
- 1On the Canvas connect screen, enter your school’s Canvas web address, like school.instructure.com.
- 2Paste the token and tap Connect Canvas.
- 3Pick the courses to import from your enrolled list and tap Import.
- 4Courses land in your planner and their assignments sync in.
Your token is stored encrypted and only used to read your courses and assignments. Disconnect anytime; imported courses stay in your planner but stop syncing.
Frequently asked questions
Canvas returned no courses. What is wrong?
Usually the term has not started or your school has not published courses yet; check back once they publish. Also confirm the Canvas address is your school’s own domain.
