PlanexAI

Two-way sync, calendar feed, or Canvas: which to use

Three ways to connect PlanexAI to the rest of your world, and when each one is the right choice.

Mobile appWeb dashboard

Two-way sync (Google or Outlook)

The deepest option: assignments and study blocks land on your calendar, and when a due date changes in PlanexAI, the calendar event updates by itself. Best if you live in Google Calendar or Outlook. Part of Academic Plus and Pro. See Two-way calendar sync.

Calendar feed (works everywhere, including Apple Calendar)

A private subscribe link any calendar app can read. Everything shows up automatically, but it is one-way: your calendar reads from PlanexAI. Best for Apple Calendar, or when you want zero account linking. See Subscribe to your calendar feed.

Canvas import

Different job entirely: Canvas import pulls your enrolled courses and assignments INTO PlanexAI, so your planner starts from what your school already has. Combine it with either sync option above. See Import from Canvas.

Frequently asked questions

Can I use the feed and two-way sync at the same time?

You can, but pick one per calendar or events appear twice. A common setup: two-way sync to Google or Outlook, and the feed for an iPad or family calendar that just needs to see your schedule.
