Review what PlanexAI extracted
After a scan you review everything before it becomes real: fix details, exclude items, and shift old dates to the current term.
When a scan finishes you see Found N assignments with everything laid out below. Nothing has been created yet; this screen is your chance to check the results.
Confidence badges
Every assignment carries a confidence badge. Green means PlanexAI is highly confident it read the item correctly. Amber and red items deserve a look: tap the row to open it and fix the title, type, due date, points, or weight. Tap the checkbox to exclude an item entirely.
Course details and grading
The Course details card holds the name, code, credits, instructor, semester, class days and times, and office hours; edit anything that is off. The Grading breakdown card shows the weight of each category as extracted from the syllabus.
Old syllabus? Shift the dates
If the dates look like a past year, a banner appears: These dates look like [year]. Tap Shift and every date, and the course itself, moves to the upcoming term. A spring syllabus scanned in the fall lands on next spring, not a date in the past.
Professors reuse syllabi constantly. The shift keeps the weekday spacing of the original schedule.
Create the course
Tap Create course with N assignments and PlanexAI builds the course, places every assignment on your timeline, and wires up the grade tracker. A SmartCards deck starts brewing from the same syllabus. If something went wrong instead, Discard and scan a different syllabus starts over without creating anything.
Frequently asked questions
The scan got something wrong. Do I have to redo it?
No. Everything on the review screen is editable before anything is created: tap any assignment to fix its details, tap its checkbox to exclude it, and edit the course details card directly.
Why are all my scanned due dates in the past?
The syllabus is probably from a previous term. On the review screen, tap the amber banner ("These dates look like...") and choose Shift; every date and the course move to the upcoming term.
