Add courses without a syllabus
No syllabus handy? Create a course by hand in under a minute and add its work as it comes.
On the mobile app
- 1Open the Plan tab and tap the + button, then choose New course.
- 2Enter the course name; that is the only required field.
- 3Optionally add the course code, pick the days it meets, and set the start time, end time, and location so classes appear on your calendar.
- 4Tap Create course.

On the web
Open Courses in the dashboard sidebar to see and manage every course. Courses created anywhere appear everywhere: web, mobile, and your calendar stay in sync.

Can I add the syllabus later to a course I created by hand?
Yes. Scan the syllabus anytime; the review step lets you match it to your existing course, and repeated scans update assignments instead of duplicating them.
